In the design workshop we identified the stunning site location as the major theme for exploration, interpreting some elements through abstraction and paring them back to basic forms. The overall design style is energetic and playful, relevant to the use of the site. The looooooooong neck turtle mascot cheekily peers around the corner, and at the opposite end a person nurturing a swan represents caring for nature.

‘HERE’: grounding ‘you are HERE’; ‘be HERE now’ live in the moment; acknowledge the traditional Whadjuk owners of the land on which you stand ‘HERE’.

It was super fun working with the talented young team @hope_perth @hitelimit @g.g.g.e.or.g.i.a @_zoja.k_ Paints once again from The Butcher Shop and Dulux . The picturesque river edge site was one of the loveliest places to paint. Located next to Dôme Deep Water Point it’s well worth a visit, especially to cool down in the current Perth heat!
