Stockland Baldivis Public Artworks

I am humbled to work in the public art realm, creating artwork which is freely accessible to all while participating in building a shared creative culture. I enjoy visual storytelling through creating contemporary artwork which stimulates the imagination, provoking conversation and ideas.

Thanks to Stockland for appreciating the value in public art and providing me with this brilliant opportunity to deliver artwork for the Baldivis community. Thanks also to the painting assistants who helped with delivery and to the public for the encouraging feedback along the way. I’ve painted many large scale murals over the past few years, but the ceiling was a first for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge which was essentially working upside down on the ceiling!

‘In collaboration with local artist, Sioux Tempestt, Stockland Baldivis welcomes a new series of vibrant murals designed to promote a sense of connection and belonging within the community.

The mural highlights the unique beauty of Baldivis, inspired by the natural elements surrounding the local area – the nearby Lake Walyungup, Lake Cooloongup and the native bushlands and flowers.

Stockland Baldivis, Clare Riley said: “Stockland Baldivis is more than just a place to shop – it’s a place where people come to meet and socialise. We look forward to bringing the community together beneath the colourful backdrop of Sioux’s artwork.”
